Brikom Children’s Foundation (BCF-Uganda) relies on our generous donors and sponsors to help support each child’s needs. Child sponsorship gives hope to the children and offers them a chance to realize their dreams. Your gifts bring practical love, hope and transformation into the children’s lives. The cost of sponsoring a child is $45/month or $540/year.
The cost of sponsoring a child is $45/month or $540/year. This fee covers the child’s school fees, school uniform, school supplies, clothing, and food. The fee can be paid monthly, quarterly or yearly depending on which is most convenient for the sponsor.
BRIKOM CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION LTD is a registered, not-for-profit National Non-Governmental Organization to operate in Uganda by Registrar of Companies, under Incorporation No: 80034344539693.
BRIKOM CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION LTD traces its origin back in 2020 registered as a Community Based Organisation whereby Rev. Fr. KISAKYAMARIA BAZIL with a vision of instilling hope and support to people in the rural communities of Uganda and refugees to have equal access to basic needs of life and achieve basic economic prosperity through different activities such as Seedlings distribution in Communities, establishment of Schools, establishment of Orphanage centers, Visiting Refugee in their camps and Communities, operating as a charity organization without legal registration.
In February 2024, Fr. Bazil decided to register BRIKOM CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION LTD as a local NGO to operate legally in Uganda.
Our mission is to empower and uplift underprivileged Children and Youth by providing access to quality education, healthcare, and emotional support.
We strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where every Child and Youth can reach their full potential, develop their unique talents, and build a foundation for a brighter future.
Our vision is a world where every Child and Youth, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to grow into a healthy, educated, and confident individual.
We envision a future where all Children and Youths have the resources and support they need to overcome challenges, achieve their dreams, and contribute positively to their communities.
BCF-Uganda’s primary focus is on helping the most vulnerable children and the Youths in ensuring that they access Quality Education, Health, food and nutrition. We help children and youths of all backgrounds, majoring in remote and isolated communities inspired by our Love for them. Together we can protect children and the youths today and empower them for tomorrow.
In every country, Children and Youths are the future of a nation, for a developing country like Uganda, where there are more than 2 million orphans and vulnerable children, there is a need to educate children and the Youths and to ensure the welfare of their families is catered for. A child can go to school regularly only when the family, particularly the mother is healthy and empowered; the family has decent livelihood opportunities and a steady income.
On realizing this, Brikom Children’s Foundation, starting in the corridors of education, adopted a Community Based Approach focusing on Inclussive Education, Sanitation, Food and Nutrition and Livelihood, whereby communities have been engaged especially empowering women, in the long run, children and youths’ Needs will be addressed.
You can give out your used items like Books, clothes, shoes, laptop and they can be distributed to children and to our supporting schools. The possibilities for making a difference are limited only by your creativity and passion.
Meet the Executive Director who is behind the smooth running of BCF UGANDA

Fr. Bazil Kisakyamaria has an infectious love of his country and his people. He believes we are all capable of doing great things, “even the little children”. Fr. Bazil was born and raised in Kasambya Village, where BCF, first operated before it was registered formally. He reminisces on the days when he would walk long distances to go to school and at times he would suffer the heavy rainfall that would even spoil his books, he remembers the days when he used to play soccer with a ball made of banana fibers and rope. He knew his community was capable of doing great things – he saw it in the spirit and the love of his own family. However, his village lacked formal education and his parents spent all their money to send him and his siblings away to school. After achieving it to Priesthood the vocation he admired most from his childhood, he further acquired a professional Course; Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Nkumba University, Fr. Bazil is now revolutionizing the educational opportunities for hundreds of children in Bunyoro Sub-region. As the Executive Director - Brikom Children’s Foundation; His mission is to provide solutions which can enable orphans and other vulnerable children and the youth to access Quality Education; through mitigating the roadblocks and empowering the Immediate Care Givers in the Communities and provide them with an opportunity to create their own future and become the change makers in their community. Fr. Bazil says, “we will start with a small community, then one day we can change the entire country.
